Responsibilities
- Prepare and file individual and corporate tax returns using ProSystem fx and Lacerte software
- Conduct tax research and compliance analysis for diverse client portfolios
- Manage client relationships through regular virtual consultations and email correspondence
- Assist in IRS audit support and documentation preparation
- Collaborate with senior tax professionals on complex tax strategies
- Maintain accurate digital client files in our secure document management system
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
- 2+ years of tax preparation experience with S-Corp and partnership returns
- CPA license or active pursuit strongly preferred
- Proficiency in tax software (ProSystem fx, Lacerte) and Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for remote client interactions
- Ability to work independently while meeting strict deadlines
