Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements with GAAP compliance
- Manage accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations
- Lead month-end and year-end closing procedures with journal entries and accruals
- Conduct variance analysis and financial reporting for executive stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with federal/state tax regulations and audit requirements
- Maintain robust internal controls and optimize accounting workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Proficiency with QuickBooks, NetSuite, and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions)
- Deep understanding of GAAP, IRS regulations, and multi-state tax compliance
- Exceptional attention to detail with ability to manage competing deadlines
- Strong analytical skills with experience in financial modeling and forecasting
