Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliation
- Prepare and analyze financial statements with emphasis on GAAP compliance
- Lead tax preparation processes for corporate and individual clients
- Develop and implement internal controls for financial systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget forecasting and variance analysis
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable workflows and cash management
- Conduct audits and ensure regulatory compliance for Arizona-based operations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Deep knowledge of Arizona tax regulations and federal compliance standards
- Proven experience with month-end closing and financial reporting
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent remote communication and time management abilities
