Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting for 15-20 diverse clients using QuickBooks Online
- Prepare monthly financial statements with variance analysis and executive summaries
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes including reconciliations and journal entries
- Develop and implement customized financial reporting solutions for complex business structures
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable workflows and process improvements
- Collaborate with tax department on quarterly estimated tax filings and compliance
- Conduct internal control audits and process optimization initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting or corporate finance
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Excel (PivotTables/VBA), and accounting software
- Deep understanding of GAAP, GAAS, and Wisconsin state tax regulations
- Proven ability to manage multiple client deadlines with 95%+ accuracy
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail in complex financial data
- Strong remote work communication skills via Slack, Zoom, and email
