Responsibilities
- Process multi-state payroll for 200+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Calculate and garnish deductions for taxes, benefits, and wage garnishments
- Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies quarterly
- Generate year-end tax forms (W-2, 1099) and ensure compliance with federal/state regulations
- Respond to payroll inquiries within SLA timeframe
- Implement process improvements using automation tools
- Audit payroll data for accuracy before finalization
Qualifications
- 3+ years payroll processing experience with multi-state compliance knowledge
- ADP Workforce Now certification or equivalent payroll software expertise
- Proficiency in Excel and payroll reconciliation methodologies
- Familiarity with Virginia state tax codes and FLSA requirements
- Associate's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Remote work experience preferred
- CPP certification a plus
