Responsibilities
- Process multi-state payroll for 500+ employees using ADP and QuickBooks platforms
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations including FLSA and tax laws
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and benefit enrollments with precision
- Conduct payroll audits and resolve discrepancies within 24-hour SLA
- Collaborate with HR and finance teams on payroll-related projects
- Prepare year-end tax forms (W-2, 1099) and support payroll audits
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive employee financial data
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
- 3+ years of payroll processing experience with multi-state operations
- Advanced proficiency in ADP Enterprise and QuickBooks Payroll
- CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) certification preferred
- Expert knowledge of FLSA, state tax laws, and garnishment procedures
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication abilities for resolving complex employee inquiries
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting with minimal supervision
