Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly multi-state payroll for salaried and hourly employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and tax filings for federal, state, and local jurisdictions
- Conduct payroll audits and reconcile discrepancies with HRIS and accounting systems
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, benefits, and tax forms
- Ensure compliance with FLSA, ACA, and state-specific labor regulations
- Collaborate with HR on new hire onboarding and terminations
- Generate payroll reports for leadership and external auditors
Qualifications
- 3+ years of multi-state payroll processing experience
- ADP Workforce Now certification or equivalent proficiency
- Expert knowledge of federal/state tax laws and payroll compliance
- Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Strong problem-solving skills for payroll discrepancy resolution
- Proven experience with garnishment processing and tax filings
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
