Responsibilities
- Process multi-state payroll for 200+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Calculate and garnish wages, deductions, and tax withholdings per federal/state regulations
- Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies with precision
- Generate payroll reports for leadership and auditors
- Stay current on FLSA, EDD, and IRS compliance requirements
- Collaborate with HR on benefits administration and time-off requests
- Implement process improvements for payroll efficiency
Qualifications
- 3+ years payroll processing experience with multi-state compliance
- ADP Workforce Now certification or equivalent proficiency
- Deep knowledge of CA wage laws and tax regulations
- BS in Accounting/Finance or equivalent professional certification (CPP preferred)
- Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Proven experience with HRIS systems and payroll audits
