Responsibilities
- Process multi-state payroll for 200+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and tax filings in compliance with CA labor laws
- Conduct payroll audits and resolve discrepancies within 24 hours
- Prepare and deliver payroll reports for executive leadership
- Support year-end processes including W-2 distribution and 1099 filing
- Collaborate with HR on new hire onboarding and terminations
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive employee financial data
Qualifications
- 3+ years payroll processing experience with multi-state compliance
- ADP certification or equivalent payroll software proficiency
- Deep knowledge of CA payroll tax regulations and labor laws
- Proficient in Excel with advanced formula usage (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Experience with remote team collaboration tools (Slack, Asana)
