Responsibilities
- Process multi-state payroll for 500+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations including CA labor laws
- Manage garnishments, benefits deductions, and 401(k) contributions accurately
- Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee inquiries within 24 hours
- Prepare and submit quarterly tax filings and year-end W-2s
- Collaborate with HR and finance departments on compensation reviews
- Conduct payroll audits to maintain zero-error standards
Qualifications
- 3+ years of payroll processing experience with multi-state operations
- Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now or comparable payroll software
- CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) certification preferred
- Deep understanding of California wage & hour regulations
- Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Experience with remote team communication tools (Slack, Teams)
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
