Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll for 200+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Ensure compliance with FLSA, IRS regulations, and Virginia state payroll laws
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and tax filings accurately
- Resolve payroll discrepancies and employee inquiries within 24 hours
- Reconcile payroll accounts and prepare monthly/quarterly reports
- Collaborate with HR on new hire onboarding and terminations
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive employee financial data
Qualifications
- 3+ years of US payroll processing experience
- ADP Workforce Now certification strongly preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and payroll tax software
- Deep knowledge of Virginia state payroll regulations
- CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) designation a plus
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage competing deadlines with composure
- Remote work experience and reliable high-speed internet required
