Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and market data to assess borrower risk profiles
- Prepare detailed credit recommendations and risk mitigation strategies for senior management
- Monitor existing loan portfolios and identify potential early-warning indicators of default
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to structure complex credit facilities
- Ensure compliance with federal lending regulations and internal credit policies
- Develop and maintain accurate credit risk models using advanced Excel and SQL tools
- Present findings through executive-level reports and risk assessment dashboards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA/CFA preferred)
- 3+ years of commercial credit analysis experience in banking or financial services
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, financial modeling)
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, credit scoring methodologies, and risk assessment frameworks
