Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of daily financial records, including journals and ledgers.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure data accuracy.
- Support the senior accounting team with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Generate basic financial reports and assist in budget preparation where needed.
- Organize and file physical and digital documentation.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- No prior professional experience required; we provide on-the-job training.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel is a plus).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting with minimal supervision.
