Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and industry trends to assess borrower risk
- Prepare detailed credit memos and risk assessments for loan approval committees
- Monitor existing credit portfolios and recommend risk mitigation strategies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to structure complex financing solutions
- Stay current with regulatory changes affecting credit analysis practices
- Develop predictive models for default probability and loss forecasting
- Present credit recommendations clearly to senior stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 3+ years of commercial credit analysis experience
- Expertise in financial statement analysis and ratio interpretation
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling tools
- Credit certification (CRCM, CMB, or similar) preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with credit software (e.g., Moody's Analytics, RiskPro)
