Responsibilities
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and account reconciliations for multiple clients.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes efficiently.
- Assist with monthly and year-end financial reporting.
- Process payroll entries and ensure tax compliance for remote employees.
- Prepare and maintain general ledgers and financial statements.
- Respond to client inquiries regarding financial transactions during business hours (adjusted for night shift).
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite) to maintain accurate records.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks Pro/Premier is a must).
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and basic tax preparation.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting during night hours.
- Strong communication skills and professional demeanor.
