Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts and financial reports.
- Process payroll and manage payroll tax filings.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
- Ensure compliance with company financial policies and local regulations.
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks Online, Xero, or Sage) to track financial data.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficient in QuickBooks Online, Xero, or similar accounting platforms.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and basic tax regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
- Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
