Responsibilities
- Process and verify invoices for accuracy, proper coding, and authorization, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Manage the entire accounts payable cycle, including data entry, payment scheduling, and processing via wire transfer and ACH.
- Reconcile vendor statements monthly and resolve discrepancies or queries with vendors promptly.
- Assist with month-end close procedures, including accruals and financial reporting requirements.
- Maintain and update the vendor master database within our ERP system to ensure data integrity.
- Prepare monthly AP aging reports and provide detailed analysis to the Finance Manager.
- Collaborate with procurement teams to address invoice discrepancies and improve vendor onboarding processes.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in Accounts Payable or a related finance function.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and reconciliation practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote setting.
- High degree of attention to detail and proven problem-solving abilities.
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage time effectively without direct supervision.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated home office setup.
