In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for managing the full cycle of accounts payable operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely processing of vendor transactions. Responsibilities
- Review, verify, and process a high volume of vendor invoices with 100% accuracy.
- Reconcile vendor statements and investigate and resolve any billing discrepancies or errors.
- Prepare and issue payments via ACH, wire transfer, or check, strictly adhering to payment terms and approval workflows.
- Maintain and update the AP ledger, ensuring all supporting documentation is properly filed and accessible.
- Assist with month-end close procedures, including accruals and reconciliations.
- Communicate effectively with internal departments and external vendors to resolve payment issues and maintain positive relationships.
- Utilize accounting software (SAP/NetSuite) to track financial data and generate reports.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Accounts Payable or a related financial role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros) is required.
- Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and general accounting functions.
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced remote setting.
- Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Self-motivated with excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
