We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our dynamic remote team based in Phoenix, Arizona. In this role, you will manage the full cycle of accounts payable, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, vendor payments, and financial reconciliation.

Responsibilities
- Process and verify invoices for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies or billing errors promptly.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor master files and credit applications.
- Prepare and issue payments via check, ACH, or wire transfers within stipulated terms.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, including accruals and adjustments.
- Communicate effectively with vendors regarding payment status and inquiries.
- Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) to track financial data.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of progressive experience in Accounts Payable or General Accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel is essential).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to manage high volumes of transactions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
