Responsibilities
- Process and code a high volume of invoices accurately and efficiently within stipulated deadlines.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Manage vendor relationships and answer inquiries regarding invoices, credits, and payments.
- Assist in the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring all AP accounts are reconciled.
- Prepare and distribute check runs and electronic payments (ACH/Wire).
- Maintain and organize digital and physical AP files and documentation.
- Assist with accounts receivable tasks and general ledger support as needed.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of direct experience in Accounts Payable or general accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage, or AP automation platforms).
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) is required.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment with minimal supervision.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
