Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
- Perform bank reconciliations and manage general ledger accounts.
- Assist with tax preparation, filings, and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Conduct internal audits and review financial reports for accuracy and discrepancies.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve financial processes and reporting systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping roles.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of tax laws, auditing standards, and financial regulations.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines in a remote setting.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data clearly.
