Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end financial reporting, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns in compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Perform bank reconciliations and general ledger account reconciliations.
- Assist in the budgeting process and provide variance analysis to management.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Conduct internal audits and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial workflows.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably within a remote or hybrid setting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of GAAP, tax laws, and financial regulations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
- High level of attention to detail and analytical problem-solving abilities.
