Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day general ledger accounting, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L).
- Assist with payroll processing and ensure timely tax filings for clients.
- Perform bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies.
- Conduct internal audits and recommend process improvements for financial efficiency.
- Communicate financial status, updates, and concerns to the management team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA preferred).
- 3-5 years of professional accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment with high self-discipline.
