Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial operations, including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, ledgers, and reports in accordance with GAAP.
- Perform month-end and year-end close procedures efficiently and accurately.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis.
- Collaborate with external auditors and tax preparers as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA designation is a strong plus.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting standards and tax laws.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
