Our Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a proactive problem-solver who can manage complex financial data with precision. You will be the backbone of our financial integrity, ensuring compliance and optimizing financial reporting.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial operations, including accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP and internal policies.
- Perform bank reconciliations and general ledger account reconciliations to maintain financial integrity.
- Assist in the preparation of federal and state tax returns, including estimated tax payments and tax planning.
- Conduct budget analysis and variance reporting to provide actionable insights to management.
- Maintain and organize financial records and supporting documentation for audits.
- Collaborate with the team to improve financial processes and implement automation where possible.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA certification is a plus).
- 3-5+ years of professional accounting experience, preferably in a remote or hybrid setting.
- Proficient in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of tax laws, financial regulations, and internal controls.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
