Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounts payable and accounts receivable processes with precision.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements and general ledger entries.
- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure all financial data is accurate and up-to-date.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax returns and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Utilize QuickBooks and Excel to streamline financial reporting and forecasting.
- Conduct regular audits of financial records to identify discrepancies and prevent fraud.
- Collaborate with the finance team to optimize budgeting and forecasting processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
- Proven proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and tax regulations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote setting.
