Responsibilities
- Manage the general ledger and ensure accurate financial recording of transactions.
- Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring all invoices are processed timely.
- Prepare and reconcile monthly bank statements and financial reports.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings.
- Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with company policies and GAAP standards.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Maintain organized financial records and digital filing systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required).
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent certification preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or finance.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must reside in or be willing to work remotely from the San Antonio, TX area.
