Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end bookkeeping processes, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict compliance with GAAP.
- Assist with the preparation and filing of federal and state tax returns.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and general ledger account analysis.
- Collaborate with the finance team to enhance budgeting and forecasting models.
- Assist in the annual audit process by providing requested documentation and schedules.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.
- CPA or CMA certification is highly preferred; Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of US tax laws, regulations, and compliance standards.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment with strict attention to detail.
