Responsibilities
- Manage the full-cycle accounting process, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger reconciliation.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
- Assist with the preparation of tax returns and ensure all local and federal tax regulations are met for Fresno-based entities.
- Conduct monthly bank reconciliations and ensure all financial data is accurate and up-to-date.
- Collaborate with management to develop budgets and financial forecasts.
- Process payroll and handle employee reimbursements accurately.
- Maintain accurate digital filing systems for all financial documents.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Demonstrated experience in GAAP compliance and financial reporting.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
- Must reside within the United States with valid authorization to work.
- Self-starter mentality with the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
