Responsibilities
- Process multi-state payroll using ADP Workforce Now and QuickBooks Enterprise
- Manage garnishments, tax filings, and year-end reconciliations
- Operate provided payroll hardware including biometric time clocks and check printers
- Resolve payroll discrepancies with 24-hour SLA response time
- Collaborate with HR on benefits deductions and compliance updates
- Maintain audit-ready records using provided document management system
- Train team members on payroll software operations
Qualifications
- 3+ years of multi-state payroll processing experience
- ADP Workforce Now certification or equivalent
- Proficiency with provided payroll hardware and peripherals
- Expertise in CA wage orders and federal compliance
- Advanced Excel skills with VLOOKUP and pivot tables
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) certification a plus
- Experience with garnishment processing and tax filings
