Responsibilities
- Manage month-end closing processes including journal entries and reconciliations
- Prepare financial statements and variance analysis for client portfolios
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles and cash flow management
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and tax regulations (AZ focus)
- Implement process improvements using QuickBooks Online and Excel
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial forecasting
- Maintain accurate audit trails and documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 3+ years of accounting experience with remote work exposure
- Expertise in QuickBooks Online, Excel, and accounting software
- Strong knowledge of Arizona state tax regulations
- Proven ability to meet daily deadlines in fast-paced environments
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Professional certification (CPA, CMA, or EA) a major plus
