Responsibilities
- Manage the general ledger, ensuring accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions.
- Prepare comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements and resolving discrepancies efficiently.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Perform internal audits and support the annual budget preparation and variance analysis processes.
- Collaborate with the management team to streamline financial processes and improve operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required; CPA or CMA certification is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting or financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Demonstrated experience successfully working in a remote or hybrid work setting.
- Strong analytical skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of translating complex financial data for non-financial stakeholders.
