Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll for multi-state employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Manage garnishments, tax filings, and year-end reconciliation (W-2/1099)
- Conduct payroll audits and resolve discrepancies within 24 hours
- Collaborate with HR on benefits administration and time-off tracking
- Maintain compliance with federal/state labor regulations (FLSA, FLSA, NC state laws)
- Implement process improvements using Power BI dashboards
- Serve as primary payroll liaison for 3rd party vendors
Qualifications
- 3+ years multi-state payroll processing experience
- ADP Workforce Now certification or equivalent (e.g., Ceridian)
- Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables) and QuickBooks
- Familiarity with FLSA, ACA, and multi-state tax regulations
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Experience with garnishment processing and wage attachments
- PHR/SPHR certification preferred
