Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll for 200+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Calculate and garnish wage deductions, benefits, and tax withholdings
- Prepare and file federal, state, and local payroll tax filings
- Manage payroll reconciliations and audit documentation
- Respond to payroll inquiries and resolve employee discrepancies
- Administer 401(k) contributions and other benefit deductions
- Stay updated on FLSA, CA labor laws, and IRS regulations
Qualifications
- 3+ years of payroll processing experience (ADP preferred)
- CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) certification required
- Proficient in Excel and HRIS systems
- Knowledge of CA payroll tax laws and reporting requirements
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or related field
