Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly and monthly payroll for 500+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations (FLSA, FICA, WA state laws)
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and tax filings with 100% accuracy
- Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies within SLA standards
- Generate payroll reports for CFO and HR leadership
- Collaborate with HR on new hire onboarding and terminations
- Conduct quarterly payroll audits and reconciliation processes
- Stay current on legislative changes affecting payroll operations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
- 3+ years of payroll processing experience (multi-state preferred)
- ADP Workforce Now certification or equivalent software proficiency
- Deep knowledge of FLSA, FICA, and WA state labor laws
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, macros)
- Proven problem-solving abilities with payroll discrepancies
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential data with discretion
