Responsibilities
- Process multi-state payroll for 500+ employees weekly/biweekly using ADP Workforce Now
- Ensure compliance with federal/state regulations (FLSA, AZ labor laws) and internal controls
- Reconcile payroll discrepancies and resolve employee inquiries within SLAs
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and tax filings accurately
- Collaborate with HR on onboarding/offboarding payroll transitions
- Generate payroll reports for leadership and external audits
- Maintain confidential employee payroll records with zero errors
Qualifications
- 3+ years US payroll processing experience with ADP systems
- Proficiency in multi-state payroll compliance (AZ, CA, TX preferred)
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or equivalent certification required
- Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
- Strong problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
- Experience with garnishment processing and tax filings
- Ability to work under tight deadlines with 100% accuracy
- Excellent communication skills for employee interactions
