Responsibilities
- Process multi-state payroll for 500+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations (NYSDOL, FLSA)
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and tax filings with 100% accuracy
- Collaborate with HR on timekeeping systems and employee payroll inquiries
- Reconcile payroll accounts and prepare monthly/quarterly reports
- Implement process improvements to enhance payroll efficiency
- Support year-end tax filings (W-2s, 1099s) and audits
Qualifications
- 3+ years of payroll processing experience with multi-state operations
- Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now or equivalent HCM system
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or actively pursuing certification
- Deep knowledge of NY-specific payroll tax regulations
- Advanced Excel skills with VLOOKUP and pivot table experience
- Proven track record of maintaining 100% compliance record
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
