Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll for 200+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Ensure compliance with FLSA, IRS, and NC state tax regulations
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and employee tax withholdings
- Prepare and file payroll tax returns (Form 941, 940, state quarterly reports)
- Conduct payroll audits and resolve discrepancies
- Support year-end processing (W-2s, 1099s)
- Collaborate with HR on new hires, terminations, and benefits changes
Qualifications
- 3+ years of US payroll processing experience
- ADP Workforce Now certification preferred
- Deep knowledge of FLSA, multi-state taxation, and garnishment laws
- Proficient in Excel and payroll reporting tools
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- SHRM or APA certification a plus
- Experience with Sarbanes-Oxley compliance
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
