Responsibilities
- Process multi-state payroll accurately and timely for 500+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Manage tax filings, garnishments, and compliance across federal, state, and local jurisdictions
- Conduct payroll audits and resolve discrepancies through data analysis
- Support HR initiatives by processing new hire onboarding and terminations
- Develop reports for leadership on payroll metrics and budget forecasting
- Collaborate with finance team on month-end closing and reconciliations
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive employee financial data
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on payroll processing experience with ADP systems
- Deep knowledge of federal/state tax laws (FLSA, FICA, etc.) and compliance
- Advanced Excel skills including VLOOKUP, PivotTables, and data validation
- PHR or CPP certification strongly preferred
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Experience with multi-state payroll and garnishment processing
