We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Specialist to join our growing finance team in Plano, TX. Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle payroll processing for over 500 employees on a bi-weekly schedule.
- Ensure 100% accuracy in wage calculations, tax withholdings, and deductions.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations (FLSA, FICA, etc.).
- Administer employee benefits, 401(k) contributions, and garnishments.
- Resolve payroll discrepancies and audit inquiries promptly.
- Collaborate with HR to update employee information and tax documents (W-4, I-9).
- Prepare and file quarterly and annual payroll tax reports.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on payroll processing experience.
- Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now or similar HCM software.
- Strong working knowledge of state and federal tax laws.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP).
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
