Responsibilities
- Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for over 200 employees using ADP Workforce Now.
- Ensure 100% accuracy in gross-to-net calculations, tax withholdings, and deductions.
- Prepare and reconcile monthly payroll tax filings and state reports.
- Administer employee leave requests, workers' compensation claims, and garnishments.
- Respond to payroll-related inquiries from employees in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist in the annual audit preparation and year-end tax reporting processes.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in payroll processing.
- Strong working knowledge of FLSA, COBRA, and state-specific labor laws.
- Proficiency in payroll software (ADP, Paychex, or Ceridian) is required.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Human Resources is preferred.
