Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll for 500+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations (VA, FLSA)
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and employee benefits enrollment
- Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies
- Generate payroll reports for leadership and auditors
- Collaborate with HR on new hire onboarding and terminations
- Stay updated on payroll legislation changes (e.g., overtime rules)
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- Basic math proficiency and attention to detail
- Ability to learn HRIS systems (training provided)
- Strong organizational skills and time management
- Excellent communication for employee inquiries
- Willingness to obtain CPP certification within 12 months
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
