Responsibilities
- Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for all employees accurately and timely.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax laws and regulations.
- Reconcile payroll accounts, including bank statements and general ledger entries.
- Assist employees with payroll-related inquiries, deductions, and tax documentation.
- Review and approve timecards and leave requests for accuracy.
- Prepare and file quarterly and annual payroll tax reports.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on payroll processing experience (ADP, QuickBooks, or similar software preferred).
- Strong understanding of FLSA, wage and hour laws, and tax regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to detect errors.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Ability to handle sensitive employee information with strict confidentiality.
