Responsibilities
- Manage the full-cycle payroll processing for over 200 employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Calculate and process commissions, bonuses, and deductions with strict attention to detail.
- Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws, including FLSA and Nevada tax regulations.
- Prepare and file quarterly and annual payroll tax returns and W-2s.
- Conduct regular audits of payroll records and timesheets to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding pay stubs, tax documents, and deductions.
- Collaborate with the HR department to update personnel files and ensure data integrity.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Bachelor’s preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on payroll processing experience.
- Proficiency in payroll software (ADP, Paychex, or similar systems).
- Strong knowledge of payroll tax laws, regulations, and reporting requirements.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and data analysis.
- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to handle sensitive financial data with confidentiality.
