We're seeking a detail-oriented professional to process bi-weekly payroll for 500+ employees across multiple states. You'll collaborate directly with HR and finance teams to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations while delivering exceptional service to our workforce. Responsibilities
- Process multi-state payroll using ADP Workforce Now, including tax calculations, garnishments, and deductions
- Conduct payroll audits and reconciliations to ensure 100% accuracy
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll discrepancies within SLA
- Prepare and file quarterly tax forms (941, 940, state unemployment)
- Manage time and attendance system integrations and troubleshooting
- Assist in year-end processing (W-2s, 1099s, 401k reconciliations)
- Document and update payroll policies and procedures
Qualifications
- 3+ years of payroll processing experience with multi-state compliance
- Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now or similar payroll platforms
- Familiarity with CA wage and hour regulations (AB 5, 1522)
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPP certification or willingness to pursue within 6 months
- Advanced Excel skills with VLOOKUP and pivot tables
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently with flexible hours (7am-3pm or 10am-6pm)
