Responsibilities
- Process weekly payroll for 200+ employees across multiple clients using ADP and QuickBooks
- Calculate, verify, and distribute wages including overtime, bonuses, and deductions
- Ensure compliance with federal/state/local tax regulations (FICA, FUTA, LA state laws)
- Reconcile payroll discrepancies and resolve employee payment inquiries within 24 hours
- Maintain confidential employee records and audit trails for quarterly/annual reporting
- Collaborate with HR departments to integrate new hires and terminations into payroll systems
- Generate payroll analytics and variance reports for client financial reviews
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on payroll processing experience with weekly pay cycles
- Advanced proficiency in ADP Workforce Now and QuickBooks Payroll
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or QuickBooks ProAdvisor preferred
- Expert knowledge of multi-state tax laws and garnishment processing
- Proven ability to manage high-volume deadlines with 99.9% accuracy
