Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll for multi-state employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Manage tax filings and compliance for federal, state, and local jurisdictions
- Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies in partnership with accounting
- Administer garnishments, deductions, and benefit enrollments
- Conduct internal audits and prepare payroll reports for leadership
- Collaborate with HR on new hire onboarding and payroll-related terminations
- Stay updated on FLSA, ACA, and evolving payroll regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of payroll processing experience with multi-state compliance
- Advanced proficiency in ADP Workforce Now or similar HRIS platforms
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation preferred
- Expert knowledge of federal/state tax regulations and garnishment laws
- Exceptional attention to detail with 99.9% accuracy in data processing
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to confidentially handle sensitive data
- Proficient in Excel and reporting tools for payroll analytics
