Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll for 500+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Manage time and attendance data, reconciling discrepancies with department heads
- Calculate garnishments, bonuses, commissions, and tax withholdings
- Ensure compliance with FLSA, NY State labor laws, and IRS regulations
- Prepare and file federal, state, and local payroll tax returns
- Respond to employee payroll inquiries within 24 hours
- Conduct quarterly and annual payroll audits
- Support year-end processing including W-2 distribution
Qualifications
- 3+ years of payroll processing experience in a multi-state environment
- Proficiency with ADP Workforce Now or similar payroll systems
- Deep knowledge of FLSA, NY labor laws, and tax compliance
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) certification preferred
- Advanced Excel skills with VLOOKUP and pivot table experience
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage sensitive information with confidentiality
