Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll for multi-state employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Calculate and garnish deductions, bonuses, commissions, and overtime pay
- Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies with general ledger
- Prepare and file federal/state payroll tax forms (941s, 940s, etc.)
- Manage new hire onboarding for payroll documentation and tax forms
- Respond to employee payroll inquiries with exceptional customer service
- Conduct annual payroll audits and ensure compliance with FLSA and ACA
Qualifications
- 3+ years of payroll processing experience with multi-state operations
- Proficiency in ADP, QuickBooks, or similar payroll software
- Strong understanding of federal/state payroll tax regulations
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables) and data accuracy
- PHR or CPP certification preferred
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive data
- Proven problem-solving skills with attention to detail
