Responsibilities
- Process multi-state payroll accurately and on time for 500+ employees
- Manage tax filings, garnishments, and compliance with federal/state regulations
- Administer benefits deductions and 401(k) contributions
- Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies
- Collaborate with HR on new hires, terminations, and payroll system updates
- Conduct internal audits and prepare quarterly reports
- Support year-end processing and W-2 distribution
Qualifications
- 3+ years of payroll processing experience with multi-state knowledge
- Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now or similar payroll systems
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) certification preferred
- Expertise in FLSA, DOL, and state labor regulations
- Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
- Exceptional problem-solving and communication abilities
- Ability to work independently with flexible scheduling
